GUNN IMS (Intra Muscular Stimulation) is a highly specialized form of needling, in fact its a complete system of assessment and treatment for chronic, recurrent neuropathic pain syndromes.
The technique is taught only at University of British Columbia, (UBC) Canada and only practiced by
Dr. Noman Hussain(PT) in Pakistan.
These pain syndromes are extremely common and usually don't respond well to the traditional physiotherapy and other needling techniques like acupuncture & dry needling.
GUNN IMS is what you must be looking for in order to get rid of your chronic recurrent pains. A GUNN IMS session is typically 60 minutes in duration.
